Great Britain’s gambling industry is in a constant state of change, fuelled by shifting consumer behaviour and the rapid growth of technology. It’s high profile politically too, and the legislation controlling gambling is constantly under scrutiny. Within this uniquely challenging and evolving environment, The Gambling Commission’s role is to ensure that gambling is crime free, fair and open - and that children and vulnerable people are protected. Now they need you to play a key role in their future, driving the change needed to ensure that the Gambling Commission can meet the growing complexity of the market and their developing regulatory remit.   

The licence to run the National Lottery is up in 2023 and the Gambling Commission is currently preparing the National Lottery 4th Licence Competition (LC4) to award an operator to run the National Lottery.   

The Commission is currently looking for an Executive Administrator to join their London office and provide a high level of support to the National Lottery Competition Department. 

If you are a meticulous administrator with a strong customer focus, this is an exceptional opportunity to develop your career with a leading regulatory organisation. 

As an Executive Administrator, you’ll perform a range of administrative tasks to facilitate the smooth running of the National Lottery Competition Department.

Specifically, you will: 

- Carry out reception duties 
- Act as a point of contact during external visits and meetings 
- Attend meetings and take minutes 
- Make travel arrangements for colleagues 
- Order office supplies 
- Occasionally travel to the Commission’s office in Birmingham 

To be considered, you will need: 

- A proven track record of providing a quality administrative service and excellent customer service in an office environment 
- Experience of processing and handling confidential and sensitive information

Organised and diligent, as an Executive Administrator, you will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. You will also have a logical approach to problem-solving and the ability to work with discretion.
