Tutor – Sociology/Social Science
21.6 hours per week
Salary: £24,130 - £26,353 (pro-rata) per annum
Temporary until 31 May 2016

We are seeking to appoint a Tutor in Sociology to deliver Social Sciences modules on the College’s Diploma courses. You will have responsibility for the planning and delivery of Sociology and Social Sciences. You will also act as a Personal Tutor to students on the Diploma programme. You will have proven experience of teaching Sociology at level 3 or above and experience of delivering accredited learning. You will also have passion and enthusiasm for supporting learners to achieve their full potential and overcome significant barriers to learning. You will have experience of working in an FE or adult education environment and be educated to Degree level in Sociology or a closely related discipline. You will also have a PGCE or relevant equivalent.
